Pilates
Floor Pilates is a conscious, yet flowing form of movement, where the focus is not on speed, but on quality. The exercises are done with your own body weight, on a mat, while the deep muscles – especially the stabilizing muscles of the core – are worked throughout.
This workout not only strengthens, but also "aligns" the body: it improves posture, increases flexibility, and helps you connect better with your own body. The slow, controlled movements and conscious breathing together create a kind of flow experience – challenging and invigorating at the same time.
